It is being reported that Lewis Hamilton has been called in to see the stewards, following on from his victory at the British Grand Prix earlier today.
Hamilton, who converted qualifying second into a ninth victory around the historic British circuit, has been summoned in accordance to regulations when he jumped the barriers in celebration whilst holding his native flag. Health and Safety protocols have issues with such actions and therefore this has believed to automatically trigger the stewards to get involved.
It is suspected that the result won’t be effected, and that this decision is merely a formality. A fine, at most, is the expected punishment.
