Williams have unveiled their eye-catching blue livery for the upcoming 2026 Formula One season.
With their workforce looking on at Grove, James Vowles accompanied by Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon released this season’s look for the FW48.
Williams have stuck with a vibrant, gloss-blue as the main focal colour of their livery, complimented by the black of the underside of the chassis, sweeping to the rear of the car, allowing the vibrancy of the blue to really stand-out.
The car also features a red and white key line, a feature Williams explains is a “feature of championship-winning Williams cars like Nigel Mansell’s FW14B and Damon Hill’s FW18 which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.”
A striking new feature of the car comes in the form of the baby-blue sidepod sponsor of the team’s latest partner ‘Barclays’, a step which the team have described as “the latest vote of confidence in Williams’ determination to return to the front of the grid.”
Accompanying the ‘Barclays-blue’ on the sidepod as well as across the front-wing and rear-wing is the white, which is said to inject “energy and movement into the design and amplify the presence of our partners across the car.”
Another feature here to stay for this season is the ‘Duracell’ sponsorship, transforming the air-box of the car into a ‘Duracell’ battery – something which sets apart Williams from the rest of the grid.
In an interview for the team, Carlos Sainz shared his thoughts on the cars newest look:
”The FW48 livery is a real statement of our intent for 2026. The design celebrates Atlassian Williams F1 Team’s heritage while embracing a fresh, dynamic look for the new era. I’m excited to race in this livery and to share the thrill with fans around the world – their support makes all the difference as we continue on our journey together!”
