By Callum Griffies

Friday’s two sessions see Ferrari have promising pace as Ferrari topped the tables in FP1 with a 1-2 as the 7 time world champion ending the session top with his Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc just behind him in P2.

However, with high hopes for Lewis Hamilton coming into Saturday. He will be serving a 5-place grid penalty on Sunday for an incident that occurred at Zandvoort last week.

Two familiar faces were seen at the wheel in the first session. Rookies Alex Dunne and Paul Aron made their second appearance of the season replacing Oscar Piastri and Franco Colapinto.

FP2 saw Kimi Antonelli spin out early into the session as he beached his car in turn 7 which saw the red flag come out.
Lando Norris led the way into the second session as he topped the table with Charles
Leclerc following close behind.
Despite having a broken mirror. The young Briton beat his Aussie teammate Oscar Piastri to P1 as he hopes to claw back vital points this weekend.
Williams had a strong showing in the two sessions with Carlos Sainz finishing P3 in both sessions.
