Early Passion for Racing

His love of racing began with the Cars cartoon. Accompanied by his dad, Yassine Hadjar, an amateur go-kart driver, Isack was introduced to the real world of racing. By the age of 7, he was already competing in karting championships, and it wasn’t long before the victories started coming.

Climbing the Ranks

His single-seater career commenced in 2019 with the French F4 championship, after which he managed to join the French motorsport team. His first victory in this category was in Belgium on the famous Spa Francorchamps circuit. He then continued his journey in Formula Regional before reaching FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 in 2023. He spent 2 seasons in the antechamber of Formula 1 before finally being able to reach his lifelong dream: the pinnacle of motorsport.

Breaking Into Formula 1

The Franco-Algerian driver was spotted by RedBull after his incredible FRECA victory in Monaco in 2021. Joining the academy has enabled him to progress through the different categories. He was already behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car during the first practice session of the 2023 Mexico Grand Prix. His dream became reality when, in December 2024, Red Bull announced that Hadjar would be joining their second team, Racing Bulls, for the 2025 season alongside Yuki Tsunoda.

Australia Grand Prix Preview

A Tough Start, But A Bright Future

Just like every other Formula 1 rookie, the young driver has had difficulties in his debut. During the formation lap of the Australian Grand Prix, before the race had even begun, he wrecked his car in the wall. Even though it was a difficult time, he received a lot of support, including from his childhood hero’s dad, Anthony Hamilton, which showed how much he was respected in the paddock. Although Isack’s Formula 1 career is just getting started, one thing is sure: he has the talent, the speed and the determination to succeed. He’s not just another young driver; he is a future contender for a world championship.
