F1 driver FIRED, replacement already confirmed…

By Joe Murphy

Logan Sergeant’Formula 1 career is over after being replaced by Williams for the remainder of the season. Franco Colapinto will take the seat from Monza, before Carlos Sainz joins the team from January.

Sergeant has been under intense scrutiny, after a run of poor results and costly crashes which have set Williams back. His achievements pale on comparison to teammate Alex Albon who has regularly been on the cusp of serious points positions.

The news may not be a shock to many, but replacements during the season are very rare. It remains to be seen if this is the last time we ever see the American driver in the elite level again.
