Simple really. The Dutch haven’t got a chance and the Spanish are going to be toast on Sunday. Here is why it is not coming to the “casa” but coming home!
Firstly, we have a very young, motivated and talented team. All our players play for the best clubs in Europe in the best leagues. We have ‘cold’ palmer, majestic Jude Bellingham who hasn’t failed to keep hopes high for the euros. We have some of the best penalty takers going five for five in a crucial penalty shootout in the quarterfinal against a top team, Switzerland.
Secondly, we have the best fans who will travel all the way to Dortmund to show support and put fire in our players to help our top squad push through and dominate the Dutch and destroy Spain on Sunday.
Finally, Gareth Southgate has turned around English football in a way that continues to be underestimated and verges on the miraculous. Ahead of todays England v Netherlands semi-final, in which Netherlands must be the favourites, I think he’s the best manager England have ever had. Better than Sir Ralph, or Bobby Robson.
Lets keep spirits high and tenaciously support our boys.
