The situation at Red Bull appears to have worsened further with the employee at the heart of the Christian Horner scandal now appealing the decision to the FIA.
That’s right, the female employee who accused the Red Bull Team Principal of foul play has now gone above their employer, who it must be said recently suspended her from work.
Whilst the process remains mostly confidential and only so much can be revealed due to law surrounding information and disclosure, reports have been shared that show the employee has been searching for legal advice and has taken this case to Formula 1 central, officially making this an F1 issue as supposed to just an internal matter.
Red Bull and Horner have yet to comment in an official capacity. It is certainly as escalation of an already troubling case. Quite what the FIA governing body will do is unknown at this time. Whether this actually forces the constructor to take a different approach is also highly debatable as we are in territory the sport hasn’t really been before.
