TORO ROSSO ARE BACK… (kind of)

By Joe Murphy

In a flurry of de-ja-vu, first Visa Cash App RB Formula 1 car livery has been unveiled, with the team drawing heavily on it’s history as the classic Toro Rosso look, returns to the grid. There is also a clear nod to the teams very public affiliation with Constructors Champions Red Bull.

The revised Visa Team hope to improve on a disappointing season. They are sticking with the drivers that finished last season in those seats, namely Daniel Ricciardo nd Yuki Tsunoda. Statements from the pair show they are happy with the alterations the team have made from last year’s model.

It hasn’t all been sunshine and rainbows for the team formerly known as Alpha Tauri, however. Zak Brown has criticised the role of the ‘sister’ team over the winter break, and the new car does little to shake off the connections with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez’ team.

To go with the fresh red, blue and silver livery, the VCARB-01 takes its front pull-rod and rear push-rod suspension from Red Bull.
