Magnussen and Hulkenberg’s new Haas car unveiled; there’s an IMMEDIATE problem!

By Joe Murphy

Haas became the first constructor to unveil their 2024 challenger and the response has been mixed. Adopting a new, predominantly black and dark livery, there was mixed emotions, with new Team Principal already downplaying their expectations.

Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen were present at the unveiling which is a change from last season’s car that finished stone dead last in the Constructors’ Championship.

A bitterly disappointing 2023 campaign led to a change of backroom personel for Haas, with the Guenther Steiner making way for Ayao Komatsu, who was promoted from his previous position as director of engineering.

However, Komatsu himself has said to fans they shouldn’t expect much. In fact, he went as far to claim that this car will finish last in Bahrain and fans of the team shouldn’t get their hopes up. This is not what Magnussen or Hulkenberg would have wanted to hear, especially before resting has even commenced. Still, it’s a reality check and confirmation that this is a fresh reset for the American team.
