Haas are the final Formula 1 team to announce their 2024 car launch plans ahead of the new season.
The American constructor will reveal the VF24 next Friday, the 2nd of February at 2pm UK time, officially becoming the first team on the grid to reveal to fans their new challenger.
New Team Boss Ayao Tomatsu has admitted the outfit have a huge challenge ahead of them to improve the team that finished dead last in the previous campaign.
“The ’24 car is a clear step, but whether it’s good enough against the competition to start off with, I don’t think so, because we started so late,” he said.
“We changed the concept so late as well, and then by actually doing the Austin upgrade, we diverted our resources a little bit. I’m realistic with the car we’re putting out in Bahrain, but not in a negative manner…”
Elsewhere, Toto Wolff has calmed that Mercedes “have a car again” for the “first time since 2021″as Mercedes prepare for a new season to try and close the gap to Red Bull. 2021 was the last time Mercedes were constructors champions and Toto hopes that this car could bring them closer to those glory years.
