Huge shock as top Talent leaves Ferrari for Red Bull!

By Joe Murphy

In a move that wasn’t predicted by anyone, it has been confirmed that Rupert Manwaring has left his role as Carlos Sainz’ performance coach, only to join Max Verstappen in the same role for the 2024 season.

After working with the Spaniard for eight years, the Dutchman now joins his fellow compatriot in a bid to gain even more success with the three-time, back-to-back, World Champion.

It is being reported that there is no animosity at all between the parties involved, with Carlos even paying tribute to his friend by wishing him well across his social media platforms.

For Max, he will get a vastly experienced coach in a sport where this role is vital to the success of the drivers involved. Bradley Scanes, former life coach of Verstappen himself, had already left the sport entirely in pursuit of another vocation, just before Christmas.

“Ruperto” had been a critical part of Carlos Sainz becoming a top racing driver, gaining two wins during their tenure together. It is safe to say that Manwaring can expect to add to this number with his new working partnership.
