Hungry for Hungary?

By Joe Murphy

The mixed results from Friday’s sessions show that this weekend’s results are by no means a formality. Russell and Leclerc topped limited sessions from wet weather time trials and Saturday’s new qualifying format is set to, at least slightly, shake the grid up.

Danny Ricc is back and if he can finish anywhere near the points then that will be a tremendous race result for both the returning driver and his team.

Verstappen is looking to win yet another Grand Prix, with teammate Sergio Perez looking like a man under pressure after finding the wall in what Martin Brundle described as a “rookie error”.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri will be hoping to replicate their success from Silverstone a fortnight ago whilst Mercedes have introduced yet another upgrade to try and get some decent performance our of a struggling car.

Predictions for the race would be Fernando Alonso to get a podium, Perez to finish third and Max to make it great with eight.
