McLaren will run a special chrome-inspired livery at their home race, the British Grand Prix, marking their 60th anniversary as a constructor.
The design pays homage to their chrome livery, which they ran for eight years until 2014. This livery will be in the history books forever more due to Lewis Hamilton’s drivers’ world championship success in 2008.

In partnership with this nostalgia, driver Lando Norris will wear a matching helmet design/race boot combo while both he and his team mate Oscar Piastri will wear celebratory design race suits.
“It’s no secret that racing fans love McLaren’s classic chrome livery,” said McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown. “Google Chrome wanted to bring back elements of this iconic livery to celebrate our team’s history at the British Grand Prix, and we’re excited to be able to give our fans what they want.”
I for one can’t wait to see this car line up on the grid and hopefully in a promising position. Something that looks more probably in the last few outings with Lando in particular able to find pace from the car, achieving a season best result in Austria last time out.
