Sad news from the motorsport world today as 18-year-old racer Dilano van’t Hoff died as a result of an incident at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit while competing in the Formula Regional European Championship.
Whilst not directly related to F1, the youngster was a talented prospect with hopes and a genuine chance to make it to the pinnacle in the not so distant future.
F1 themselves, along with others across the motorsport community, will pay their respects this weekend. The tragic death comes on an action packed day across Europe in terms of motorsport action.
