After taking a short winter break of our own, Wheel2Wheel Reports is back and we have got lots of articles coming your way before the 2023 campaign starts in a few weeks time. First up, let’s look at the revelations which have been the car liveries. Not all are yet to be released, but so far, there are no shortage of talking points.
Haas

The American team were the first to blink when they revealed the livery for their 2023 challenger, the VF-23, on the last day of January. With a new title sponsorship deal with MoneyGram agreed, the branding of the company was plastered across the sidepod area.
With the returning Nico Hulkenberg replacing Mick Schumacher, Haas will have their fingers crossed that their German/Dane combo can achieve great things this season, perhaps even P7 in the Championship Standings, which has to be the target.
Williams

The Williams FW45 livery reveal was also somewhat pleasing to the eye. The partnership with Gulf could result in some quirky designs for special wraps over the coming year, but this is a strong start for the wooden spoon runners of last year. Whilst it may not be the fastest, Logan and Alex will at least look good in blue when F1 heads to Bahrain in less than a month’s time.
Alfa Romeo

My oh my, isn’t this just the most gorgeous thing. The Alfa Romeo is perhaps the most popular one with fans so far and made many male fans of the sport become uncomfortable in their trousers. With Sauber turning their interest away from Alfa and towards the likes of Audi, we may not see such a stunning combination of Red and Black in some time (well, one that isn’t a Ferrari of course). The C43 will be aiming to replicate its form in the earlier part of last year, rather than the drab ending which it encountered. Either way it got Bottas and Zhou excited, especially the former.
Red Bull

Personally, I am a fan of the Red Bull look. It compliments the Ferrari and Mercedes alongside (or behind) nicely. However, when the latest car was revealed last week, I had to check the calendar. I thought it was 2023 but a huge dose of de-ja-vu hit me due to the sheer doppelganger nature of the challenger. Many people played spot the difference between the 18 and new 19 model and that wasn’t easy. Nevertheless, Red Bull won’t care if this model achieves the same results as last seasons counterpart.
