Charles Leclerc did win the race,
With Max Verstappen just behind,
Carlos Sainz’ engine blew,
But there’s one man we can’t find.
Mercedes pair came rolling in,
Then Ocon down in fifth,
Haas also had a strong showing,
But there’s one man who was a myth.
McLaren had a mixed weekend
And Alonso scored a single.
Perez went to a D N F
Not the only driver who didn’t mingle.
Zhou and Bottas failed to score,
They had the Alpha’s in their rear,
Alex Albon showed some pace,
But his teammate disappeared.
Nicolas Latifi, did he race?
He was last, and then retired?
If he doesn’t make more of an impact soon,
There’s a chance he won’t remain hired.
In defence, the car is poor as hell,
It’s speed is just so pants!
Let’s hope the Williams does something of note,
In two weeks time in France!
